Take part in the renovation of the seats of this famous and unique Parisian theater.
With their double armrests and their deep seating, the seats in the orchestra and the mezzanine offer high comfort. For all performances, these wooden seats with a pleasant red velvet cover are here for you. During rehearsals, the artists love to sit here to better grasp the room's acoustics or to test the view of a production or choreography. The Théâtre was last renovated in 1987 and since then the seats have not been touched. The Théâtre has looked after them, repairing wear and tears over time.
Today, by taking part in its renovations, you will feel even more at home.

From Carmen by Bizet.
Creating an opera for a young audience with an artistic team composed of young artists in order to allow a generation of visually impaired or blind people to be among those who will discover the Une Carmen creation is one of the main missions of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées.
What the visually impaired and blind audience will not be able to see during the performance will be described to them through headphones. They will picture the stage thanks to a Braille map of the setting and will be invited to touch the costumes.
This French adapted version was thought out with great enthusiasm so that everyone could experience or learn the pleasure of opera now more accessible, thanks to this device.
